☆chris_the_wing wrote:Did you use AVS to convert your videos? I haven't tried this myself but you might have the wrong version of the Photo Channel to work with the Wii video format you're using. If you have a video on a SD non high capacity card (I think the SDHC cards aren't supported by the photo channel but that might just be a v1.0 issue) & it still doesn't work, go into your Wii settings and delete the Photo Channel. "What, delete the Photo Channel?" you're thinking. Well, your not actually deleting the whole channel, just the 1.1 update that removed some features like MP3 playback and changed the supported video format. So if you have Photo Channel 1.0 & it doesn't work try 1.1, if you have 1.1 & it doesn't work try 1.0, if it can't read your SD card try a non high capacity one.
Good luck to you, and anyone else who might want to give it a try.

My card does work, as Ive been able to see the photos but the videos appear with a big "?". I was using a free software to convert the video (Total Video Converter, it even had the wii category for output format). Now I tried with a different setting (.mov), but if it doesnt work I might as well just go for the homebrew after I buy the U, I guess there is a movie app or something with more formats maybe? Havent done research on that (and probably this is not the place for those questions).

Sell it? Give it Away? Keep it?
I don't have a Wii but if I did have one I would still keep it and also try to make it dust free as possible
