What's gonna happen to your Wii?

It's a love story between the Wii and i so i don't know what's gonna happen but i think it still gonna be really really really hot till Dragon Quest x! I'm not gonna sell it, i'll give it to my mon, she can have fun with let's dance, wii sports, play motion and feet + and the weather channel is cool for her.

I still have plenty of gamecube and Wii games to play... but I think that I'll just wait to get the WiiU until I've gotten through my backlog.

So, once I do that... I guess the Wii will be dedicated to a few games (DDR and Rockband 3) and maybe watching videos.

I don't know, but since it's been almost a year it stopped reading discs, it most likely will be unplugged, shelved with its box and call it a day, not planning to get rid of it, though.

Probably just gonna store it along with the other consoles I have that aren't plugged in, unless I can transfer my VC games to the WiiU, in which case I'll give it to my little brother or something.

Put it away, as much as I loved the games that it brought, the console itself...... well with Wii U there is no point in having it out anymore unless you want Gamecube playback but then again just bust out the old Cube for that

My Wii stopped reading discs early last year. So it's been out of action for a while. But I hope theres a trade in deal where you can trade it in and get a discount on the Wii u when i want to get it, like the 3DS deal at gamestop. But ill probably just keep it.

I'm going to mod it, start importing the pretty substantially large number of games that never came to NA (Disaster Day of Crisis especially), and quite possibly put homebrew on it and check out the altered smash bros and user made games on it.

I'm going to transfer all my data to Wii U and then put it back in it's box. Wii U will take it's place on my TV stand shelf. I've brought my Gamecube out in case I want to play it.

I don't have a Wii but if I did have one I would still keep it and also try to make it dust free as possible

I go home on two different places during the weekdays and on weekends so I'll probably bring home the old Wii to house I less frequently stay in and the Wii U where I get home from work.

I have 2 Wii systems. 1 modded for Homebrew and whatnot, the other is there for some games that the old one can't play. Since the first one has nothing but SNES, N64, and NES games through modding, I doubt the Wii U will be able to recognize the games. The new Wii has only one VC game, so the Wii U will most likely recognize that as being legit.

So, the Old Wii will be for the modded games, the black Wii for my Gamecube games, and the Wii U for my Wii games.

Well first im gonna transfer my digital games and save files.
I probally try to sell it after that but if i can't get a decent ammount of money (100+) i'll probally just give it away.

I'm going to be keeping mine and use it for Gamecube games. Even if the WiiU had the ability to play Gamecube games (does it?), I would still keep my Wii. I still have my Gamecube even though I haven't touched it since I got the Wii. For some reason it's hard for me to throw out old consoles, even if I never use them. I don't think I have any emotional attachment to them, but I can't bring myself to sell any of them.

Definitely not selling it, I get attached to my old consoles 'cause I have so many memories from them. Though I might let my nephew borrow it after I transfer all my save data.

I'm keeping mine, just like all my old consoles. I got the white one and the red Mario 25th anniversary one.

Keep it, but not play it anymore. If there aren't WiiU VC releases for Gamecube games(there should be), I'll keep the Wii for playing those too (never had a Gamecube, and never got to play lots of games for it I'd love to try)

Absolutely nothing. I don't plan to trade it in for a Wii U, I'll just buy the latter on its own. I especially don't plan to lose my Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl save data, or my only current way to play Gamecube games (and no, I don't rebuy the same games I have on download services, I consider the concept kind of a rip off).

I will download any GameCube games I missed( I CAN'T imgaine what that would be???) for the Wii U, but Wii ain't going nowhere. Launch system, is staying put!!!

I don't think I'm going to trade in my 2006 system (with $300+ in Virtual Console downloads) any time soon. I'm going to continue enjoying Rhythm Heaven Fever until WiiU comes out. Then, I'll pack it back into its box and shrink-wrap for the future.

Gonna send everything over to Wii U.

Then I am going to hack the crap out of my Wii, turn it into an emulator heaven and play games I can't ever get/play on VC (like EarthBound) and PS1 games, play Euro/Japan only games and mess around with Brawl costume/character/stage hacks.

And since some game saves probably can't be copied to the Wii U (Brawl, for example) I will probably play them on the Wii still. It will also become a full-time Gamecube.
