Nintendo: what kind of features would you want out of our new online structure.
Me: mostly to easily find and play with friends, i.e. it would be awesome to play through new super Mario U with a friend online with voice chat.
Nintendo: here is our online Miiverse and you can post text bubbles above levels in the new Mario game.
Me: and can you play online co-op with a friend?
Nintendo: no, but you can get tips from friends and can see if they are playing the same game.
Me:

They haven't said it, but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed with the fact that there's an audio jack for headphones, and a microphone. Yes we see it's for video chat but if you have video chat you can have audio chat and since they're going for a new online infrastructure i would say it's in the cards.

Same, I can see it getting really old, really fast.

I can't stand all this social networking BS, I even turned friend notifications off on my Xbox, I just want to play my games.

Again, why not say all this during the conference?

PS:
P-100 was not a big reveal. They revealed it during Gametrailers. That's a big reveal? they couldn't even be bothered to show it at their conference?

P-100 is a big reveal? Or ZombieU? Or a Mario cash-in we already knew existed? Or Pikin 3 (which while cool was already know about and isn't something huge)? Rayman Legends?

I think you may need to look at the likes of Halo 4 for what a big reveal is. Though the game was known about, THAT is what calls forth Xbox owners to purchases and makes their conference worth watching for its fans (and I'm not even on) Nintendo had nothing like that. They had absolutely nothing worth watching other than Pikmin 3. :( And don't give me that entitlement crap, please. 'o.o

halo 4 ,big reveal, zzzzz. good for xbox fans, i would be just as excited if they announced halo 5 already and we know that will happen.Comon, as a gamer im more interested in P-100 than Halo 4 and im DEAD serious. Im trying to get your point, and Im guessing the equivalent of announcement would be Mario Galaxy or something like that but to be honest Im not a big fan of galaxy . I mean lets be blunt here, you say ms gave their fans what they wanted, their biggest seller, HALo XVII, and guess whats nintendo seller?NSMB(sold more than zelda or galaxy or ANYTHING on nintendo), guess what, the equivalent was delivered so dont be hypocrite.if you are excited about halo (oh god but to each their own), you are on the wrong side of the forums.

Thank god friend codes will be no more. Just have an add friend feature similar to the existing social networks out there.
