What 3DS announcement would knock your socks off?

With the 3DS specific presentation just a few hours away, I know many Nintendo fans are hoping for a slew of new information on the games they know about, and hopefully some surprise reveals.

I think we all can agree that an announcement of Fire Emblem being localized is a must, but I want to know if there is a game announcement that would make your jaw drop. Is there an unexpected game that, if announced, would make you jump for joy, cry and cheer all at the same time?

For me, that would be the announcement of Golden Sun 4. What about you?

I'll be happy with just new info and videos on Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion. If Fire Emblem is announced for localization, that would be cool and I'll check it out.

On the third party side, I like to see Monster Hunter Tri 3G get announced for NA. Tired of Capcom messing around with their fans.

Something unannounced that will "knock my socks off" as you put it is we get a Zelda game. Either a Majora's Mask or A Link to the Past remake or something new. Even a little teaser for it will cheer me up more than what I saw with their Wii U showcase.

I'm pretty sure that a Zelda remake is out of the question. They said that they would want to make an original Zelda first before doing another remake. That said, I would think that they would have announced any killer 1st party games at the main e3 conference instead of pushing them to the back burner.

I would piss myself if they announced a new F-Zero for the 3ds. Heck, even a port of GX would make me happy

While I would love to be wrong, It seems that the best thing we can hope for from tonight's conference is the localization of MH3 (finally)!

A new Zelda title!! And if not then a remake of either Link to the Past or Majora's Mask. Also proper dates on the release of Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Paper Mario Sticker Star.

2 out of 4 isn't bad I guess. No Animal Crossing and Monster Hunter 3G was a bit depressing at first but the Fire Emblem confirmation sort of made up for it.

I wasn't really expecting anything "new." It was nice to get confirmation of Fire Emblem: Awakening coming to North America!! Even if it wasn't in the presentation...

I think people are honestly silly to be complaining that we aren't getting a Zelda, or complete surprise on 3DS at E3 this year. When the 3DS was unveiled at E3 2010, they released a HUGE list of games in the works. Some of the first party stuff is finally coming this holiday, others will be next year...they clearly still have a lot coming that's been in production for awhile. Patience and gratitude is key. It's nice enough that we're getting something like Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, which was only announced last year.

In relation to how Nintendo released such a large list of 3DS titles is how they're handling details on Wii U games. They're showing off only what we'll get near launch. We didn't get a blockbuster announcement perhaps, but they don't want to tease us with something like a Fire Emblem or Animal Crossing game that would be far off. Thank Nintendo. They'll definitely have some great stuff to show off next year!! We still got a line-up of three solid Wii U games from Nintendo in Pikmin 3, NSMBU, and Nintendo Land. It's not what we wanted, but it's what they could manage. Let's be happy we're not getting stuff like what the 3DS got at launch. I'm really satisfied with the line-up! There's plenty to enjoy on both Wii U and 3DS this holiday. I just ask that people be patient with such surprise game announcements...patience...internet...yeah...anyways...

It showed up at E3 2010 at least, and apparently Level 5 is publishing themselves this time.

ok. after the thing. those were all games I am interested in and will probably buy (nsmb is a currently sitting on the wrong side of 'maybe' in that). The presentation however, what fucking godawful. They don't know when to shut up. we don't need double jumping explained to us. we don't need a description of everything read to us. show us the game. play it a little bit, move the shovel on to the next one.

I'm pretty upset with how they didn't show Animal Crossing. However, I'm EXTREMELY happy with Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, and even more with Paper Mario Sticker Star. This is going to be a good year.
I just hope we hear something soon about Animal Crossing though...

Well, I'm really excited for Castlevania and Luigi's Mansion, both games look fantastic! I am upset that Nintendo didn't say anything about Animal Crossing. I was really looking forward to that. I was also really shocked that they didn't say anything about Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. That game has been out in Japan since the 3DS launched. I wonder when we'll be able to play it. :'(

Also, I love Mario but I'm starting to get sick of him. It seems like Nintendo's platforms are getting over saturated with Mario games. It's really time to give one of their other IPs some love!
