Just noticed that was gone as well as both Zelda poster sets...so glad I finally got that case last month. I wanted it so bad. It holds all but three of my games but I have the Animal Crossing one from long ago so it works out. :F

Club Nintendo - 3DS game card case may never be back in stoc

Postby WarioSuperstar » 16 Jun 2012 08:47

As far as I know, the 3DS GameCard cases were never made available in the European Club Nintendo Star Catalogue. I hope that the possible discontinuation of this item in North America doesn't affect the availability of it in Europe. I really want one, so I hope they'll make it available for us someday.

I don't really understand why anyone would need 3 though. Maybe 2, but three? dang.

If nothing else, I think that other reasons for ordering three would probably extend to the desire of keeping one for collection purposes or gifting them to other people.

Club Nintendo - 3DS game card case may never be back in stoc

Meh, things like those never interest me. I kinda see no point in them, TBH. The games already come in their own boxes, so why not just leave the games there? What would be the point of having the box, then? Just to hold manuals and stuff? I keep all my game cases in one spot, so I don't need something like this since I never lose my games and I can always easily look for them. The cases looked cool, but kinda pointless to me. I guess it's good if you're traveling and want to bring a bunch of 3DS games with you in a single game card case instead of in individual boxes, or if you have a tendency to lose your games, but other than that, I see no point in them really.

I find it funny that I only just found out about this a couple of weeks ago and ordered me one. I got very lucky to get one of the last shipments.

I got 3 because I have around 45 DS games and 15 3DS games. Let me assure you that they are being used and what I decide to use my Nintendo play money is my decision

Club Nintendo - 3DS game card case may never be back in stoc

@Quizler

It is one way for people to clear up shelf space. Instead of having like 60+ DS game cases on a shelf, I could just order four of these cases and clean up some room for other stuff. That is one of the reason in why I have 3.

For anyone looking to maximize storage space:

http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-3DS-Game ... 004K6LQCQ/

They come in a few different tint colors, can hold 3DS and DS cards, and can hold up to 25 because the 1 SD card slot it actually a removable clip. I have a bunch of them now, and they're fantastic if your primary goal is consolidation.

See, if all the games were digitally-available from the beginning, we wouldn't need card cases. :P

That doesn't help those of us who prefer physical over digital.
