The Last Story release date?

I can't seem to get a straight story (no pun intended) on when The Last Story is supposed to be released. GameStop appears to have the game listed for July 31, while other sources say July 10.

I just need to know because I'm still trying to finish Xenoblade and need to see if I should put Mass Effect 2 on hold for a bit.

Says its July 10th... Probably am not gonna get it cuz my GameStop makes my Target look reliable (that's a lot).

P.S. You're better off just playing Mass Effect.... Buuuuuuuuut if you're willing to try a decent third person shooter, buy after The Last Story. Just as long as you don't play Mass Effect 3.

Nope. Xseed has made no announcement of a release date. July 10 is possible, but it's a placeholder... the only information we actually have as to when it's going to release is "probably between Unchained Blades and the rest of Xseed's current lineup". For reference, the aforementioned launches on the 26th for PSP (with undetermined but irrelevant 3DS date.)

Edit: Which is... totally today. Knew that. In any case, it's probably next.

I honestly don't know what's going on. Even GameStop isnt sure.

I asked my EB Games about this, and they said it was pushed from June 22nd (same day I picked up Mario Party 9 and Mario Kart 7), to July 3rd. Didn't know the release date was this much of a clusterfudge.

This was why I was hoping the last Nintendo Direct show would give us. But once again, nothing...

Amazon has also pushed the date back to July 31st from what I've seen. Take it for what it's worth. But I would not think of any 'release date' on the game that is out there now to be a sure thing.

Amazon says July 31, which IS a Tuesday, so it's entirely possible. Says I won't get the game until August though.

So I'm kinda hoping it is towards the end of July because I need to stack some money up. I have enough for the game, but I want to work on fixing my 360 or getting a new one. And getting a 3DS. Suuuucks.

Called up the GameStop I pre-ordered the game at and they told me "beginning of August." Since my classes don't start until August 20th I guess I can't complain much (this should give me plenty of time to beat it), but still I wish XSEED could give us a more direct answer.

On the bright side, this should give me plenty of time to complete Mass Effect 2 and Xenoblade.

Yep, they already confirmed this about a month ago. People who pre-order the game at GameStop instantly get the special edition on day 1, but of course this is only for people who pre-order and not for people who buy it late.

Eh...I'll just pre-order it from Amazon. The lack of a release date really makes me hesitant to put down money for a pre-order too.

Just looked it up all pre-orders get a 44 paged all color soft cover book of concept art. Additionally all first print copies receive the same slide cover that the japanese version of the game has. Releases July 31st according to Game Trailers.

Ugh, just got an email from Best Buy saying my pre order for The Last Story was pushed back to 08/05/2012. Anyone else get any emails stating the same thing?

This is getting annoying. :/

I'm going to get this regardless of when it comes out. First Sakaguchi game on a Nintendo console in decades. The man responsible for my fav. rpg of all time (FFIV). I'm stoked.
