I only own Ocarina of Time 3D, but this is because I don't own a 3DS (intend to get it either tomorrow or Monday) and I got it when it came out so I could get the Club Nintendo OST.

I also have Mario vs. DK from DSiWare which will wind up on my 3DS since I got that when it was offered on Club Nintendo but need a 3DS for it.

There are tons of games I intend to get for it though. I just only bought OoT early for the thing.

I literally have no money. And when I wanted to get a 3DS originally, my 360 broke and was out of warranty (actually it wasn't, but Microsoft decided that it was and I couldn't prove they were full of crap since my mom lost the receipt from when she got it for me for Christmas a while before).

And I had other things that took priority over buying the 3DS. Simply couldn't allocate cash towards it. I was also hoping for a Green 3DS to come. Or Orange. D:

I was considering holding out for XL, but I honestly didn't see the point. Not because I am upset about the size (my hands are big, so it'd probably be better for me to hold, looking at it now), but $200 (more considering tax) is still a lot for something I can't buy any games for with it, and I wouldn't be able to get enough money off of it from a trade-in of something else. I also do *not* like the interior being all black. And yes, I actually care.

So I actually wound up caving and getting a normal 3DS using a DSi trade-in thing so I got it for like $110.

If there is a decent trade-in value, I could easily trade up to an XL and send all of my data over to it, but we'll see.

As it stands, I am fine with the Flame Red 3DS Vanilla.

As for the games you're considering, I've played Mercenaries 3D, and since Revelations has Raid mode, I wouldn't recommend getting Mercs unless you REALLY liked that specific gamemode in RE4 and 5. If you do, though, I had a lot of fun with Mercenaries, and I'll play online with you sometime if you want.

Mario Kart 7 is great. It's the new favorite in the series among me and some of my friends, and the exploit that ruined the game for a while has been fixed. Battle mode in 7 is a little weak, but the racing is so entertaining that I don't mind.

For the eShop, I'd recommend Sakura Samurai, especially if you like games like Punch-out. If you're not interested though, maybe don't; people seem to be really polarized as to whether they like that game or not. Just thought I'd throw it out there, although you probably already know about it.

That's why Mercenaries is a considered game. I did like the mode in RE4/RE5, and I want to play more Barry and Claire and stuff. It's not something I'd 'buy at a high price', though. But yes. I'd totally play you if I got it, haha.

And awesome about MK7. I loved MKDS and Double Dash and I liked a lot of things added to MKWii, but I preferred the previous two. Kinda uninterested in the inclusion of the Bee Queen and some characters not being in from previous titles (like DryBones, who I played all the time).

And I actually love Punch-Out. I own the NES game and SNES game (though I haven't really played that one) and the Wii version is one of my favorite Wii games. I know of the game, but I don't actually know much about it. Guess I should look into it. Sucks that I missed the deal though, should I decide I want it (that was last week's right? Got my 3DS on Monday, haha).
