Mass Effect: The Movie?

Variety is reporting that Avi Arad, the producer of many of the comic movies, has optioned Mass Effect, so he can make a movie about it. Check out the kotaku article for all the details, or at least the explanation of the lack of details.

although I think this would be a good movie. I wish he would have chosen KOTOR even though that would never be possible becuase of licsence issues. I think this would be an awesome movie if they could get a good cast and a decent story.

Who do you think the cast might be. At least, who would play Shepard. Seth Green would play his character.

NOOOOOOOOOOO. Thats the greatness of Mass Effect, its basically already its own movie. I seriously hope this just ends up like the Metroid movie....

It depends on who they get as a director. It seems like video game movies might not suck anymore with Max Payne, but who knows.
