EA Sports on Wii U

Postby CorusFace » 02 Aug 2012 16:22

After seeing EA's summer presentation featuring sports titles on Wii U, I am truly curious about this: are players who normally play sports titles like Madden or FIFA excited for the options provided by the Wii U, or would you continue to buy the game for the other consoles (assuming the Xbox 360 or the PS3)? I am excited to see what these games have to offer on the Wii U, but I have never been a huge sports gamer. Please offer your opinions!

The quality of these games have been long overdue on a Nintendo console. I've sat through agonizing years of watered-down FIFA games on Wii, so to find out that Wii U will have what the other consoles are getting, and will look better too and with more immersive features makes me sweat with glee.

How Fifa looks on the gamepad truly interests me, and I haven't played a soccer game since 1994 on the Sega CD.

I was planning to get Madden 13 for Xbox 360, but, I think I'll get the Wii U version after hearing all about the Wii U's HD graphics. I haven't played a Madden game since Madden 08 though because the only thing that changes is the rosters, no new features. Hopefully this one has new features, although I'm really just buying it because my hometown player is on the cover. :)

Blitz, NBA Jam, and NHL 94 for genesis. Those are the sports game they need to put on WiiU.
