The World Ends With This Thread.

Whats better then one screen? Well two screens of course! Current-gen portables inside: DS, Lite, DSi, DSXL, 3DS...

This game is beyond brilliant.

I do play it on my own pace, and it seems to work better that way for me. I do kind of slack on the clothing & food area of the game (I still in a way don't understand it that well, any suggestions?). I'm not doing to bad on pins, as of right now I'm on day four (on hard) w/ Joshua.

Is it best to change your clothing in every area you move into?

I also just downloaded the soundtrack off of a torrent, and I must say, oh my is it lovely.

If you wear a certain brand of clothes/ pins more than others then you probably shouldn't keep changing. It'll just take two or three battles to make your predominantly used brand the top one anyway.

Ah I see. :-)

I never did open up the other two pin slots. :-/ It didn't stop me from beating it though, so I'm hoping I'll find them while I go through it again doing all the side missions. :-)

Most overrated DS game so far. It was good, not godly as everyone claims it to be.

i dug up this old thread b/c i just got back into playing this game after playing it for a bit and setting it aside. i'm on day 5 and i was thinking that the game must be incredibly short if there are only 7 days, but from reading FAQs apparently you repeat the 7 days twice more. that sounds kind of boring to me, so i'm just wondering if you weren't that into the first 7 days is the rest of the game just pretty the same or are those two chapters really worthwhile? thanks in advance.

It's all about the story & the characters.

Who I feel in love with, and they only grew more and more through out the game. It's well worth it especially for the most epic final boss battle ever!

each seven-day "game" that Neku plays is all different, with all new missions and story and characters. I felt that the game did improve through that point, and i got more interested in the story as well, but frankly, if you're really finding the first seven days boring you may not really care for the rest either, I loved it all the way through.

TWEWY was a simply amazing RPG, still my favorite this generation. I was amazed at how good an RPG that completely destroyed the RPG format could be; generally the best RPGs are the ones that employ a traditional RPG format, but innovate with new and fantastic design decisions (i.e. Baten Kaitos).

well it turns out that i played it again yesterday and once i experimented more with lowering my level (i.e. making the game harder) i started enjoying the game much more. the end of chapter 1 was also pretty cool, and now that i'm able to use the hard difficulty it's way more fun and battles are much more challenging. also liking how the second section doesn't feel like a repeat so far, although they do seem to recycle the enemies a bit too much. looking forward to playing more.

also, what's this about a secret ending? i read about the secret reports you collect post game, but am i missing anything with the memes? i don't seem to be running into anyone i can use memes on other than the main story people.

^ You do need to use memes in a different way for secret reports, but it's just different memes with the same main storyline person.

I love TWEWY. Best RPG this generation. I like beating the game on level 1, ultimate difficulty just to get a challenge.

We need a 3DS sequel.
