Wii launched in the morning for me. I waited in line in the *morning* for the Wii.

None of this fancy midnight launch stuff. D:

Anyway, probably missing Wii U at launch this time. Not preordering and don't have enough money myself to get it and it's too expensive to ask for as a birthday gift, I think.

What if you arranged a deal with your parents to have them pay for half as your birthday present. Then you pay for the other half.

Prediction time!
-Non-Specfic ActionFigure will be there.
-A New Character will be revealed for Injustice
-Nintendo will use Ninja Giaden 3 as a major focal point
-Either Monolith Soft or Retro Studios will be there with a Wii U game.
-Nintendo will tease one first party game coming Q1 2013(that's not Retro or Monolith's)
-Capcom will show of it's Wii U titles. They will be RE6, Okami HD, a fighting game and a Monster Hunter Game(the latter of which won't get localization right away)
-Kingdom Hearts HD collection will be announced it'll hit Wii U and PS3.
-An Amazingly large amount of digital support a lot of big players in the digital industry (Zynga,PopCap,RedLynx, Rovio) have signed on to do eShop titles.
-Connectivity to 3DS will be shown off but won't be a launch connects like in the patent from a few month ago. Wii U senses when the 3DS is away and links up when it's "Home" shares information.
-GameCube titles will NOT be on eShop at first will be about 2 years until they are added.
-Sakurai will be there to basically say development for SSB4 is going well. No gameplay/Trailers for SSB4 will be shown.

everything I've read about the wiiu version says it's still just as terrible.

KingBroly went to a WiiU experience event and had this to say about the game. Its in this thread but about 15 pages back. It speaks for itself.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
- Remember the bad framerate and horrible screen tearing of the original? Well, these problems are non-existant in this version. Remember the other problems like horrible gameplay, mashy combat, QTE bullshit and overall bad design? Well those problems STILL EXIST in this version. Your Steel on Bone is a 2-button counter now instead of using it whenever. Whenever an enemy glows while near you, they are about to attack. Here, you hit X and then X or Y again to finish them. They Kamikaze you if you injure them while you get close. You can dash out of the way, change weapons, and whatnot. But overall, it just feels cheap. Enemies take too long to kill, the camera sucks, and it's just not tight; something you expect a Ninja Gaiden game to be. Of the 2 hours there, I was the only person to beat it, with everyone else leaving within 5 minutes out of disgust. It was also the only game to not have a line of people waiting to play it. Nintendo fans are wise to Team Ninja Dog's bullshit I believe.

My point was that "At It's Core, Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge" is still a bad game.

I highly doubt that they're going to change boss encounters, the story, QTE mechanics, etc. which were all a big part of the original game, which made it bad. Now I'm interested to see that if later on bosses you faced early on become regular enemies or not because that'd at least make the game genuinely harder instead of it being a complete bore. BUT what I played was still an unfun, demoralizing experience. And I beat that demo, the only one to beat it there as well.

I hope you're right. Though I'd obviously like to see it be more around $250.

My predictions for the event:

System is revealed in 2 colors. Black and White.
Reggie tells us how he knows Nintendo caters to different audiences, so thats why they are happy to announce that the Wii U will come in 3 variations:
-$249.99 = Base System, no frills.
-$299.99 = Base System + 2 Wii Motion Plus controllers and nunchuks + Nintendo Land (via online download)
-$349.99 = Base System + 2 Wii Motion Plus controllers and nunchuks + Nintendo Land (via online download) + either an extra Wii U Gamepad, or a Pro controller.

Also revealed will be a short trailer for SSB4. No gameplay, just a concept video to get the fans hyped even more.
From there, they'll introduce Retro AND Monolith Software. They'll be talking about each other's great games, and how innovative they are.
And then, they announce that there will be a Retro/Monolith game coming out in Summer 2013....

Reggie then walks back out. And he exclaims to the world. "Are U Game?"

*Cue Wii U sizzle reel, followed by a big splash logo of all the games slated for the launch window. After that, they'll end it with pics of the system and UPad together, with their slogan. "Are U Game" (Or stupidly stylized as: R U GAME)

Wasn't expecting the black Wii"U" to have 32GB, while the the white one, only 8 gb. All the more better for me to hear.
