I think it looks really cool. The more RPGs on Wii the better I say!
Here's the preview on IGN btw. They have some screens there too.
P.S At 0:54 is that... a GIANT ENEMY CRAB!?

Especially if it's an action RPG like it seems like it might be!

KittyFields wrote:Well, the trailer kinda looks like it might be some sort of blend between a turn-based RPG and an Action RPG. The combat looks a little slow to be an ARPG.
Also, there really is a lack of turn-based 3D RPGs for consoles lately, so I really wouldn't mind if this turns out to be more turn-based than ARPG.

LuigiGBA wrote:Nintendo? really? Was it in the Press conference? I feel so out of the loop here, you'd think Nintendo might've pushed this a bit more, like Golden Sun. Maybe it's the Baten Kaitos/Disaster guys, Nintendo bought them, i believe.

thresholdXCI wrote:Confirmed, it is Monolith's RPG. Shame it wasn't announced in the press conference though. Even a little bits of the trailer, I mean why show off parts of an already released trailer about an already announced game (FF:CC) when you could show off a brand new title by your own second party?

+100
Now on topic, I watched the trailer for the game yesterday on the Nintendo Channel, and the game actually has me interested. I've never really played a RPG, never played a Final Fantasy game for more than 5 minutes(I know horror of horrors), but I've always wanted to try them, just never have.
That being said, maybe it's time I start and actually try some Final Fantasy's or Tales of Symphonia, or maybe this when it's released...it does look interesting.

Mave wrote:This looks great. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Monolith Soft the developers who also made Disaster: Day of Crisis?
If that's the case, then this is a Day 1 purchase. I really, really enjoyed that game. I never played Baten Kaitos on the GC, but it always looked very appealing.
