heh.. just a random thought. one of the bumpers that starts with a stuttering "g-g-gonintendo radio..." reminds me of some vintage max headroom. anyone here remember him, or is it too old school?

Alright, so I sent the GoNintendo Radio podcast link to some friends. I was just chatting with one of them and this is part of the conversation:

My friend: "what's up the gonintendo guys? they don't like making new episodes?"
me: "lol, you listened to all of them?"
My friend: "yes!!"
me: "what'd you think?"
My friend: "and loved every minute of it!"
me: "awesome"
My friend: "people at work thought i was listening to techno lol"

So I sent this guy the link to the podcast and had no idea whether he would listen to them or not. He is definitely having withdrawals of not having more, because I sent him that link on March 26th, and this is the first he's mentioned it since then.

Agreed! I e-mailed both RMC & TouchFuzzy a few weeks back and they both said the show would be returning "soon." Sadly, "soon" has come and gone without a new show.

I think I'll e-mail them again.

I just wanted to say I LOVED GoNintendo Radio, truly one of the best, most enjoyable podcasts to listen to--along with the regular GoNintendo podcast of course! I'm a huge fan of video game music, and I am actually interested in working on game soundtracks some day, doing sound design or editing--not sure whether I would compose my own music. Unfortunately I listened to all 12 episodes in the span of a few days when they were all out, so I couldn't participate in requesting songs or the contest. I would obviously LOVE more episodes, however many you have time for.

I'd love to hear anything from Super Mario Galaxy and more from any Zelda game. I particularly love Gerudo Valley from OoT, and Hidden Valley from Twilight Princess. Those types of awesome songs that only play in one area of a game are often under-appreciated and forgotten about when sometimes they're some of the best music in a game. Also, while short, the music at the end of every dungeon (after you beat the boss before you exit) in Twilight Princess was SOO good. I would often stay in those end rooms for a few minutes just to hear it a few times. It's called Boss Room Calm in the soundtrack I have, and a slightly longer version of it is at the end, called To the Twilight Realm. Gerudo Desert is another good from from TP.

Those are a few requests for when the podcast returns, and I can give more when new episodes start coming out more regularly. Please post more episodes before the summer is over if possible!

Sadly, it appears that we've seen the last of this once great podcast. We were told the podcast would be returning "soon" months ago. Alas, that has obviously not happened.

Heck, TouchFuzzy hasn't even logged onto the forums since early April.

I'm sure it will be back eventually, TouchFuzzy pretty much promised it would be. He's probably just busy right now, he said there'd be new episodes at some point. Hopefully we'll start seeing new ones in the fall.
