Do you think skype on psp is cool?

now i dont have a psp but i saw a video saying that they will have skype. so the psp is going be a phone. do you think this is cool?

Basically it is a small PSP with skype and MSN except it isn't supposed to be for gaming. lol

true....but the psp could only function as a phone when your on a wireless hotspot..... so really i think its a dumb feature. because if your have to be around wi fi to talk to some one that could be troublesome.

the purpose of skype is to talk over the internet, so yeah, you have to be around a wifi-spot. thats the whole point of it.

its kinda nice. on the ds, VOIP is already possible. not official, though, but via homebrew-applications.

Didn't Metroid Prime Hunters have that? I don't own it so I'm not 100% sure. I thought you could talk via mic before a game set up.

yes, you can talk before a match in hunters.
in advance wars: days of ruin, you can also talk while playing.

but i was talking about dedicated voip-applications, not games with a voicechat-function.

It's not that significant. It only has the call functions of skype, and not the chat functions. And the headset isn't available to the US market yet.

Is the SKYPE application for the Iphone completely free? I downloaded the free application and placed a call to Germany no problem. Today I received an email from Skype saying my first call is free and mentioning a small monthly service fee. I did not enter any credit card or bank info when I registered. Is there a fee to use this supposed "free" download?
