what %age of the games you play are portable vs console?

in general i'm really pretty much half and half, although maybe a bit more leaning toward console. there are some days you just want to lie down on your bed or on the couch; it just seems so much more relaxing than sitting up to play a game on the TV.

For me, about 90% console and 10% portable.

I haven't played as many portables as console games, but more portables have gotten me seriously hooked than any Gamecube or Wii game I've owned. Among these portables are:
1. Pokemon Gold Version (the first Nintendo game I'd ever played and one of the hardest gaming experiences ever).
2. Sims for the DS had me hooked for a good while, as most Sims games do.
3. Animal Crossing: Wild World, the most addicting game i've ever played.

I would say 60-40 in favor of portables. maybe 70-30 during the school year. Portables are just more convenient on a tight schedule.

I've probably sunk more time into MHF1/2/U, GTA VCS and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 each than any console game.

I tend to mete out the playtime during the week fairly equally between both platforrms though, but depending on what's on the menu I could go a whole month without playing one of them!

I play about 80% portables and 20% console. Mainly because handheld games usually cost much less than console games. For example, I picked up around 4 gameboy games yesterday at the local game store for $5.

I can play Dr. Mario (my all-time favorite game) for hours on my DS and I often do. Then again, when I'm playing games on consoles, I really hit them hard. I think it would be safe to say my playtime is divided 50-50 between portables and consoles.

I was never a big portable user until I bought my first DS, since then I's say I'm about 40% portable, 60% console. And that portable number is slowly growing.

I'd say about 50-50 for me. I never really get tired of most my DS games and with my Wii, I have really bad games and really good games. So there tied for me.

Well I have always been a console lover and never touched a handheld until DS and even then it was boring so I sold it to get some VC and Wiiware games. When I did have it, it was like 80-20.

To be honest, there are few handheld games that can grip my interest as much as a solid, sit down for three or so hour games. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is gripping, Geometry Wars: Galaxies is gripping, most things on a small screen are NOT! Metroid Prime Hunters and Mario Kart DS were perhaps the only games to have done it and done it well, so would say my split would be 70/30 in favour of the console.

I agree, not much of a handheld man myself. Occasional DS games come along that can hold my interest, and when I was younger handhelds were my priority, but as I have aged small screens != comfortable. Craning my neck to see and what not.

Nah, for me 90% Consoles and 10% Handhelds.

Lately, its been like 80-20, in the console favor. The reason for this is because I recntly got Banjo Kazooie for the N64.
