How do you know how many ppl have subscribed to the podcast?

Hello, I have a podcast and it is on iTunes. How do you find out how many subscribe to it? Thanks in advance.

they haven't perfected that system. and not everyone uses itunes so it's inaccurate.

If all of the downloads are coming from one feed, it's relatively easy to figure out how many times that file was accessed using various web tracking software. Or so I would think.

the problem is that some people just directly download the current episode mp3 from the homepage, and while there are ways of tracking server requests for files, it's still not a true indicator of the subscriber base.

what does a listener really need to know anyway? i've submitted the question to the podcast panel to update us.. but that's only out of curiosity. elchibo, your question makes it sound as though you're going to predicate listening based on its popularity or something

Yeah I only know our subscriptions through Itunes, and thats from a guy that I work with over at feedburner. He helps to get me the stats, so as far as Itunes subscriptions, I know those.

Wait you know how to get how many subscribers through iTunes, or how many times a files been downloaded when using feedburner? Also I didnt wanna know how many subscribers GoNintendo had, they already gave the rough estimate on the podcast. I was wondering about my podcast, Following Revolution.
