That's why I voted there's already too many.
There's already so many Pokemon that the designers have been rehashing some old Pokemon into new designs releasing them as new Pokemon. Also when you have a god Pokemon (Arceus), you know you have too many Pokemon to need more of 'em.
I think my biggest problem with these pokemans today is the fact that a good majority of them don't come close to resembling animals. and yeah, when you have a "god" pokemon, it's probably time to give it a rest.
After 251 they just started to suck.... If they can't come up with any better designs they should just stop at 500. That is plenty of Pokemon to catch for future games and it still lets them make 7 more, since there is 493 right now.
As long as they can create pokemon that are original (and hopefully better designs next gen) I'd say there are never "too many". In my opinion, new pokemon add more depth to the games; new pokemon means new strategies for people to create.
there is way to many Pokemon. the only ones i love are the Pokemon from Kanto and Johto.
