What determines who's in Player Select?

I feel like I'm always in the player select section of the site - is this because I'm totally legit or is it random?

In that case post post post post post post post post! Just kidding, I would never make my spam posts that obvious. I do seem to see myself in there quite often though, too. But this might actually cross into the psychological department: do we all think that we are there a lot because our own avatars catch our attentions more than others' avatars do and thus we think we are "always" in Player Select or are we really in there more often than others?

There are definitely some people that are in it more than others. For example I always see that loser Artistic_Anarchy as the Player Select because he just spams every news post with short, useless comments.

being wrong, but being confident about it does not make you correct

like i said before, there is an element of randomness based on recent activity. so spamming the system will get you no more chance than anyone else who is posting.
