what has to be done in order to post comments? I keep getting a wordpress message telling me I have to be "logged in" in order to post a comment. what does this mean?

Well it means that you need to be logged in for a start.

Wordpress accounts, for the comments section in the news, at the moment work on a separate system to the ones for the boards here. Basically you need two accounts in order to post on these forums and in the news comments.

If you already have a Wordpress account then you have to hit Logout » in order to log in (which is confusing, yes). If not then you have to make a Wordpress account.

*edit* Was that second post a "hurry up"? I was already answering you when you posted lol. Bear with these boards they're pretty quiet (which when you look at the state of other gaming forums, isn't necessarily a bad thing).

Haha, yes I admit it was a "hurry up" post. didn't realize you were answering of course. i am actually pretty confused on how to comment in the news still. i do have a wordpress.com account i, actually, just registered early today.

so i click "Logout" of my wordpress account then I...? sooner or later i'll get it down. damn gonintendo-so complicated! but we <3 you!

Hit Logout and then it should take you to a screen that says, "Successfully Logged Out". Underneath that it should have two boxes; one for Username (King Triffle, thresholdXCI etc) and one directly underneath that for your password. Just fill them out and hit enter and it'll take you to a screen about your Profile. Hit back twice (to go back to the GoNintendo article you wished to comment on) and then hit refresh. You should be logged in now.
