Plus I'm probably going to download: Wipeout HD (+Fury), Flower and R&C:Q4B.

Am I missing something? :?:

MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3?

I bought Uncharted 2 during Best Buy's buy 2, get 1 free sale and so far I'm enjoying it. I've died a couple of times in frustrating ways, but so far so good. I'm not sure it really deserves all of the "OMG BEST GAME EVAR WTFBBQ" hype that I'm seeing, but I'll reserve judgment til I finish the game.

Finished this wonderful masterpiece last weekend. Absolutely on the best best games I have every played in my entire life. What a thrill ride. So many memorable parts that I cannot seem to wrap my head around.

Plus Zoran Lazarevic is the best 'hate' figure in any videogame EVER. Forget Sephiroth, this is the biggest badass and I was actually disappointed to see him die taht brutal death in the end. I would have loved to see him bak in the third one.

Congrats Naughty Dog, you remain my favourite developer by a country mile.

Hey, you guys are mssing the point.

U2 is a game all about the thrill of the moment, with great cinematics, awesome always changing settings, tight controls and evolving gameplay. Doing a single player demo would bring many issues: doing a half hour demo from the beginning wouldn`t show all the gameplay possibilities (which are MANY) and the game's proper pace, and a demo from later hours would not only spoil some of the thrills and story development but make you lost for not knowing how to play. Doing an online multiplayer demo gave them the chance to show the ideas for the locales, let you discover the gameplay possibilities of the game, and enjoy part of the visuals all without spoiling the magnificent sp campaing. I too don`t care about multiplayer, but, as most people have to log online to download the demo anyway, offering an online-only demo isn`t that much of a bad idea.

Seriously... I`m a Nintendo lover, I never liked the PlayStation brand and most of its big name titles, and I still think that the current HD titles are nothing more than last gen titles with new (bad, yes, even for this title, even being the best looking current gen game, alongside KZ2) coats of paint and shallow, badly put together new "mechanics" (like breakable environments, which became famous with HL2 and still wasn`t beaten in being integral part of gameplay, IMO)... but U2 sold me a PS3, and it is worth every penny. I`m on my third playtrhough - on Crushing - and it only gets better each time I play. Still didn`t get the chance to touch multiplayer, and there is still so much to get and do on sp that I don't even feel the need to move on, ever.

Bottom line, if you have a PS3, you need U2 in your library. If you don`t, it is time to buy one. Heard the first one is really rough around the edges, but this title is something else.

Oh, I have to recommend to start on Hard. AI is so much better; it doesn`t just make them with super aim and take more bullets, but actually make them more dynamic and smart. You`ll die a bit, but there are plenty of well designed checkpoints and the satisfaction is much bigger.

@A_A: You are in for a ride, then. Hard is much better, and Crushing makes the game quite different. Bosses are way easier, though.

@Golbez: Not GOTF, but definitely one of the best this gen for me. Hype always makes things seem like the BEST THING EVAR, even if they are just really, really good.

@Androo: Man, some guys didn`t play it yet. Please cover those spoilers with spoiler tags... Select the text and click on the spoiler button between the reply title and the writing space.
Spoiler:
I wasn`t a big fan of Zoran; perfect enemy, but doesn`t hold a candle for Kefka or Ganondorf or anything. I do love Elena all the way, though.

dandancc, I already 100% the game. Got my platinum trophy for it. I've had it for a pretty long time now! I mostly play co-op at night. I love the co-op...Survival <3

As far as Lazorcovic (Or however you spell his name), I felt that he was just your average bad guy. The
Spoiler:
last boss fight was still disappointing even in Crushing.
I actually preferred the
Spoiler:
final encounter in the first game because it was like a level.

Regarding the first game, I understand why people wouldn't like it, but I don't understand how someone can actually hate it either. The first Uncharted is MUCH harder than U2 because the enemies actually dodge your bullets unlike with 2. If you guys haven't played the first, do so. It's also a ride. Maybe not a ride like U2, but it still has it's memorable moments. One thing to note from the first which I loved is that the WHOLE game was like a whole level. For instance, you know how in Uncharted 2, you start off in the museum and then end up in the jungle...and then end up in Nepal? In the first, you actually get to travel to the next area. You see the area you're supposed to go to in the distant background and travel to it. It was such a great feeling.

Damn guys, how can you 100% it so fast!!! I mean, unless you use walkthroughs. I'm with 75 treasures, and its been hard to find the last ones. Have no idea what Strange Relic is too. I won't use FAQs, though, I don't like to use them on games I like.

Won't 100% it so soon though, as I rented CoD4. The game has nice setpieces, but gameplay is too meh for me to care. Old-school MP with my brother is awesome, though, even though I kick his ass. Maybe I'll buy MW2 simply for co-op and local mp.

Uncharted is something else, though, and I can't stop recommending it. Monday I'll have (proper) internet, and then I'll log online, add you guys and play some U2 rounds. Hope to find you soon online!

lately i have been playing some UC2 multiplayer with my friends and i have really gotten into it. All the modes are really fun to play and require a lot of team work from all of us to make it work. I just wish i had gotten into it when i started the game since most everyone i play is ranked so much above me and have unlocked most of the boosters.

Really, you don't have to be a high level to be good at the game. I'm level 50 and the boosters you unlock in that level are worthless. All the good ones are unlocked when you're like below level 20. I don't really use boosters because I find that they make the game cheap, so I only equip the one that gains me the most money for earning medals in a single match. You don't unlock any weapons for being a high level neither. It's not like the CoD games so anyone is at even match the majority of the time, no matter the level you're in. That's what I like about it.

Everyone always uses "Down the Irons" and "Fleet Foot" which are unlocked when you're a low level. God, I hate boosters so much especially that b/s combination.
