while a small handful of these may be legitimate issues, most of them just seem like whiny " I dont like these parts, change them!" complaints..

Most of these dont even seem like proper patches.

1.They complain about MK7 even though it ALREADY get's patches. They want to replace a track. Not how it works.
2.Xenoblade there just annoyed at Reyen's catch phrases.
3.They want to make Battetoads easier.
4.They want to completely Remove the cutscenes from Other M.
5.They want to nerf Pikachu's thunder in brawl. (REALLY, they chose thunder and not Metaknight's entire character?)
6.THEY WANT A PATCH TO KILL FALCO PERMANENTLY IN STARFOX 64! What the hell?
7.They want to completely change the graphical style of NSMBWii in a patch. That's not how it works.
8.They want to REMOVE the Piantas form Sunshine.
9.And REMOVE Tom Nook from ANimal Corssing.

And those are just the ones I picked up on from games I've played. The entire articele is honestly just a bunch of whining and I'm having a serious debate over whether they actually know what patching is.

I agree, a lot of these complaints are less things that need to be fixed than just things one person didn't like playing and wanted replaced with something else. Not to mention most of these things are way, way beyond what's reasonable to fix with just a patch. Is The Wind Waker lacking in content? Yes, but I don't think the chances of Nintendo patching in the three removed dungeons + items, bosses and enemies is particularly likely, better wait until a remake. And replace the whole graphics style? That's a little over the top for a patch.

Although if Nintendo were to replace Mario Kart tracks, they should patch out DK Pass and patch in something else. Anything else. Heck, Mario Kart Wii probably needs some glitch fixing, the game's currently broken to hell and back and has at least five shortcuts of the same general effectiveness as the Wuhu Mountain Loop shortcut.

Kalimari Desert is one of my favorite "retro' tracks, what a bumbling idiot. remove it? seriously...how would that even be a patch.

Yeah almost all that list was just complaining about things the writer than things that need to be fixed. I'll also never understand the hatred for other m, I wouldn't know how consistent it was with Samus' character as I've only played super and fusion but seriously she never came across as a "whimpering, wet-nosed puppy" to me. Her portrayal was not that bad.

These aren't legitimate things that need patching.

Twilight Princess and The Last Story are the only legitimate "need" for patching. Maybe The Wind Waker and Crystal Chronicles. The rest is just bawing.

And did they ask for a Tutorial Skip for Pokemon Black/White? Because god forbid those 5 minutes or so.

Lolwut at the "patch in translations" and "patch out things I find hard" or "Patch out annoying dialogue".

Regarding NSMBW, they said filters. Not changing the actual graphics. That is something that Nintendo could easily do. It would just be a layer or something. I think.

Their list of complaints are just that. they don't really list any real reasons to patch those games and some of those annoy things in the games listed are some of what make these games. Also they make it seem as if falco is the next one to turn on the star fox team and turn heel. Sure he could be easily replaced with krystal or someone else.

With Mario Sunshine it was the total complaint about fludd and the town's people, where my biggest complaint could be lack of green yoshi and the fact that they made him die every time he fell in water.

with Twilight princess it was the canon save room glitch i will give them that one.

I will even give them the skyward sword glitch too. f i remember reading that on there that is.

i can't give them anything else tho.

They have no real complaint in terms of TWW. Nintendo could have easily added those dungeons and items and bosses sure, but if you wanted tww to get delayed to add stuff in then don't complaint about what it lacks.

Also they clearly don't know what patching is meant to be used for.

The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker needs fixed up and the removed content readded, but it's pretty much near impossible to do what they want with a patch. No, these dungeons and things should be added whenever Nintendo decides to remake the game.

And yes, patching in a translation, what the hell for? How would that work? Is this really a patch or this just asking Nintendo to redo the game if it came to the Wii U eShop?

So, these are less patches, and more "games that need to be remade"...

And for DKCR I'd say make the tutorial pig an optional inclusion, it real puts a downer on a gaming session when you're tackling a tough level and he appears to make you feel even crapper.

We get it, you didn't like Other M. Get the fuck over it and let those of us who did enjoy it in peace.

The Twilight Princess glitch is easily avoidable by just not saving in that room. I never once encountered that glitch or the one in Skyward Sword. Also this is one of like five things on that list that actually would qualify as a patch.
