can i please ask why the creator of fable is hated so much?

ive never played fable but it got pretty good ratings from what i can see but it seems everyones putting up wanted posters of the creator of it.

can someone please explain this to me, thanks

Peter Molyneux (I probably spelled his last name wrong)? He just always makes these crazy groundbreaking games that shatter what people think of video games in general, then along comes Fable which he promises will be this and that and it doesn't deliver. Then the sequel, which still doesn't deliver. Then the next sequel, which it looks like STILL doesn't deliver.

They're fun games, though, which is all that matters. Just not "some gift from God that transcends genre" like he wanted to have us believe.

Yeah, I don't think that he got hated until after Fable hit and a lot of the things that he promised were not in the finished product. Stuff he said would for sure be in there. And while it was a fun game, it wasn't anything special. At least to me. Some of that stuff got better in the next game, like the addition of the dog, but it still feels like a Zelda rip-off.

Pretty much what everyone else said. He hypes the crap out of his products like they are the greatest thing ever, bluffs and lies a whole lot, and then releases a mediocre/decent product. Fable is garbage IMO. Especially growing up on Zelda games.
