GBAmicro

These little handhelds will not die...and we don't want it to! GBA, GBASP, GBMicro... anything NOT DS-related belongs in here!

I am really interested in getting one, but i want to know some things.
Is this an exact GBA, just a different model?
Can it play older GB games?
Can it also connect to the gamecube?

The size of it looks perfect, and the famicom edition looks so damn good

I actually have the 20th Anniversary Edition that you are talking about and it is really cool.
To answer your questions:
1. Yes, it is just a smaller GBA
2. Unfortunately, it can only play GBA games (no GB or GBC) -- keep your GBA SP handy!
3. I'm not 100% sure, but I do not think it can hook to the GameCube. I don't think it has the right ports on the top. But please don't quote me on that.
4. It also may be noted that you are able to change the brightness of the screen-- hold down the L button and then push up or down on the volume buttons.

In all reality, I don't use my GBm that much. It is mainly to say that I have one. Granted, I did play and complete LoZ: Minish Cap with the GBm, but anymore, I will just use my DS Lite to play GBA games and my GBA SP to play older games.

I hope this information helped. Sorry for such a long answer

It can connect to the Gamecube but you need new cords to do it.
