What bugs me is people that care about gaming being classified as 'cool'
This article unnecessarily complicates the term 'gamer'.
If you like video-games, play them, (Unless of course you're 'too cool') and if you don't, don't.

Honestly, I don't think most of those stereotypes really exist any more. Sure if you're a really geeky gamer it's not cool, same way being a geek about ANYTHING isn't cool. The male/female ratio which seems to crop up in arguments against video game credibility is also silly, because when you think about it it's about the same as it is and always has been for football fans.

Hell these days even anime/ manga has some mainstream credibility.

The bald space marine trend has to stop. IT'S HARD to appeal not only a character with bland personality but also with bland appearance. If the trend is caused for being a soldier why not at list give it a distinct or customizable appearance.
