The only thing I'd be worried about is your graphics card. (See here.) It looks like you may be able to run Skyrim with it, but Battlefield 3 might be a little laggy. If you are interesting on playing more games on your PC, you may want to consider investing in a better video card. Buying a ~$120 video card like a AMD 6770 will give you enough juice to get your BF3 going and start turning up some of those settings on Skyrim. It should also give you the necessary power to play every game that has been released and will be released until a year or so into the next console cycle, if the next consoles are significantly more powerful than the current generation.
