Holy crap! I only have six working NES games, 36 SNES games, 7 Gameboy games, and 16 N64 games. I didn't even know what a Super Game Boy was until I looked it up!
But I'm glad to say I haven't played as many games as you because that just means I have so many good games left to play!
Well, keep in mind that between myself and my friend (with a few minor contributions from his brother), we went through a major collecting phase back in the early to mid 2000s. There used to be (sadly, not anymore), several stores in town back then that carried used NES/GB/SNES/N64 games. And Genesis and TG16, naturally. As a matter of fact, the old Gamestop in the mall, which used to be "Software Etc.", at that point was selling those used games too. Game Crazy in the Hollywood Video that used to exist here sold that old stuff too, as did this used goods store called "ReRunz". There was even a store behind this "All the Best Video" store, that sold their old, used excess stuff. As I said, sadly, pretty much every single place that used to sell these old games here in town, is now gone. Suck, really.
But when they WERE open, that's when the brunt of our collecting was done. In fact, we passed up on a few rare gems (such as Adventure Island III and this game for NES called Little Samson, which is fantastic), because we were being cheap (or at least he was, lol). We got a lot of games we hadn't owned as kids, but we also bought back many games we used to have too. There's still many games I'd like to get, but I'm afraid they're selling for more than I'm willing to pay on Amazon. But like I said, I've got most of what I'd want anyway. Anything else would just be for collection purposes, if I had the cash to burn. Someday.
And you've got the right attitude. Experiencing awesome classic games for the first time is something that can't be duplicated. Also, get your hands on a Super Game Boy if you can. Lets you play 'em on the big screen, and some later (pre-GB Color) games even had programmed-in little border graphics and whatnot, like the DK remake.
