Well, it's certainly going to take some getting used to. As stupid as I may sound, I'm having trouble comprehending the new layout. I guess I've been so used to the simple one for so long that anything with one extra button or two throws me through a loop.

That being said, I like it a lot. At first I thought that WE would have community blogs, to which I groaned. Then, upon finding out we don't, I groaned again because on second thought it sounded kinda neat. However, it's probably for the better we don't. I can't imagine all the ridiculous content we would be seeing from some users who just sign up to advertise their own sites and such.

But like I said, I like it. For now, I'm going to go to bed. It's not like it's that late or anything, but I kept waiting around for the update that I guess sitting in front of the screen for so long made me sleepy.

I think it's cool, but I'll stick with Blog View. I love just scrolling through all the news of the day. It allows me to look at stories I normally wouldn't click on. And through that, I can see games I may have ignored otherwise.

i suppose w/the blog view options its not to much different , it just seems the site loses some of its personality and home grown feel and well just dont like it is much, but im not the majority just a voice....never posted till now but viewed your site about 15 times a day for the past few years and loved every minute , and im sure the quality and passion will remain , and for that , thank you

It's WAY to cluttered, and IGN looking now... Thankfully I noticed the blog view, but it's a shame the standard layout is so inconvenient and hard to navigate now.

It just doesn't feel the same, standard feels very "linky" sort of confusing, overwelming, and blog style feels tight and small, just not the same as it was =/ (distance from the monitor is my biggest issue, and I don't like to squint). Overall it's clean and very professional, you can tell alot of thought and effort went into it, I just don't like it.

Well it changed on thing for me, after following the site since just before the Wii launched I finally signed up for the community. That said I too will be sticking to blog mode, the new is tight and very contemporary, but I only hit a few sites a day and it was always a treat to go through a bunch of pages. Seems everyone these days are building their sites so I can get through updates in just a few seconds. Frankly I like to take more time with news sites, not less. But as others have said, the content I'm sure will be as good as ever. Heck I might even hang around the forums now.

Well, I probably use both the blog version of the site and the standard in tandem until I get used to the new layout, which is awesome, BTW. I love the revamped comment section which is probably my favorite change. Overall the site will probably end up being a lot more user friendly, especially for the news-novices that cannot read through the 130 or so news posts RMC puts up every day.

It's cluttered, hard to navigate, and ugly. The blog view is also a lot uglier than the old style. Everything is too... grey. The borders are all off and as a result I honestly plan to visit the site less. I generally check for news multiple times per day, but I think I'm going to start using nintendoeverything.com and seganerds.com more.

I greatly respect RMC, but I don't like how everything has changed in recent years. It's becoming more and more about podcasts and editorials and less about news.
