Coming from the ESRB website...

No word on date of release, but with Mirror of Fate coming out, some classic Castlevania on 3DS VC makes perfect sense! Thanks to TheDreamingHawk for the heads up.

this slow drip of releases suuucks. why not drop all the NES to SNES castlevanias at once, for like, 8$. I'd buy that.

How about stop trying to get me to re-buy NES titles I already own on VC and release Bloodlines or Symphony of the Night?

Don't need Castlevania 1. Have it on GBA.

I'd buy a portable Castlevania 3, though.

But I want the gameboy CV2 as well.

And like previously mentioned, we need Bloodlines. I used to own it on cartridge but no idea where it went. Don't need SOTN though, as I own it on PSP (a bonus with Dracula X Chronicles) and got it free on XBLA with Lords of Shadow.

and how is nintendo not getting on board with that kind of synergy? want to drive VC sales, throw in some titles with new titles. Buy mario 3d land? get SMB3 on the VC!

I really think they need an executive level position that is just about their digital experience. because I don't think anyone with any power at nintendo "gets it" beyond "digital sales are high margin". Director of Customer Digital Experiences or something.

Uh, it's ALWAYS been this way on EVERY digital platform. Wii shop, PSN and XBLA all do this, what's wrong with it on 3DS

There was a rumor awhile back Konami was going to release a compilation disc. Obviously that never happened.
What really kills me is that there are quite a few GB, GBA, GBC, GG, etc. titles that I've never played before and would love to, but they keep releasing stuff that is already availiable. A good chunk of the ambassador titles were NES titles most people already own. While it's neat to have Metroid to go, why not something like Zero Mission instead?
