Nintendo can easily bring the Wii U success if the following games were released within the first year and a half:
StarTropics, Nintendo could always do with more expansive titles like that. The first two easily bested the two NES Zelda games and I would love Retro to do them...of course I want their next game to be something all new but then they should do that next! Like Kid Icarus it would be new enough to be called a new IP but also would save Nintendo time in having to think new characters, back stories world etc.
StarFox...a massive title where single player is the StarFox we all know and love but the multiplayer is something to really shout about and to sell the Wii U online, graphics and controller capabilities.
F-Zero, 1080 Snowboarding, Wave Race & ExciteBike. Wii U would be in need of some racers that isn't Mario Kart. Add some track creation there and some great online and you can keep the racer crowd more than happy for a long time.
Then we come to what we'd all love to see, a new Mario game. How about one that has the look of Yoshi's Island...but in 3D? Some beautiful cell shade graphics & welcoming style that is different from previous Mario games. Or even a MArio RPG with a similar graphic style.
Obviously throw in a new Wii Sports, Pikmin 3 (which MUST be ready for launch by now) and maybe a couple of new IP's and Nintendo would kill the others regardless of power.
As for others:
Ice Climbers is something else that could be modernised but keeping with the original style of gameplay. Would make a great co-op title and they can impress with some stunning snow visuals.
Earthbound, I want this to stay on a handheld. I don't see a new game to be honest but it would be nice if the 3DS got a decent compilation.
I don't really see why Donkey Kong, Kirby or Metroid need reviving. Ok Other M was a misstep but I reckon a side scrolling downloadable or 3DS title should be next followed by a huge Metroid Prime game.
