I find Molyneux to be so full of himself. That's a completely different topic of discussion, though. With Livingstone, I'm surprised to see just how little knowledge of Nintendo he has. Any basic Nintendo fan can tell you that the Big N isn't going to the App Store. They've said numerous times that they'll put their brands on their own hardware or bow out of the race.

Nintendo literally sells toys(pokemon figures mario figures etc) or license them out to companies that do.
Any company that sells toys can be a toy company.
But if your trying say nintendo sells nothing but toys that's incorrect(Because if you consider video games toys everybody that make video games would be a toy company)

You can use the WiiU's gamepad as a simple toy for kids or you can use it for a deep experience as Ubisoft is doing with ZombieU/Raiman Legends and Bioware is doing with Mass Effect.

All you need is creativity, if you don't have creativity you will only be able to see it as a simple toy.

And Peter, I wasn't expecting more, this guy is a shame for the gaming industry now. It's also very funny that he didn't liked the WiiU's concept but he loved Smartglass's inferior concept. Very funny indeed...

and honestly, no one has answered the question of "I have my big ass tv, why do I want to look away from that to a tiny sd screen" when you require split focus like that, your game suffers as a result. it did on the ds (the best games used either screen much more heavily than the other.) it will on this.

and that's what they are showing with their software, when you are using the pad features for something other than another button, the games have you in a mode where all you do is look at that pad.

no molyneux you are all wrong , it's not a second screen , it's a window , a second window to another soul that i totally created for that crappy kinect demo and sold the all thing under the deceiving notion that i broke the ai barrier and lag video barrier and scanning 3d objects while i was at it .No NO no no no no wait , that was Molyneux ! Molyneux is such a lying weasel , he still can't understand anything . It's funny how all those pretend not to understand the actual technical choice nintendo made

as for that eidos guy , it's welcome to crazy town , insulting on one side , praising on the other , that guy is nuts . Well anything to keep that sweet sweet incentive money from ms and sony . And praising their hardcore consumers , who else is going to buy those silly dlc . Not a lot apparently even deus ex didn't sell that much compare to games just the year before that .
