Japanese teen idol Haruna Anno decided to see just how much an SNES cartridge could handle. I don’t know why she decided to do this…it actually makes her seem a little disturbed. Regardless of that, she came up with some pretty interesting results.

Ms. Anno took 3 SNES cartridges and game they trial by fire, collision, and ice. One game was put into a freezer for 5 hours, while another was dropped down a flight of stairs, and the last was cooked on a stove. Once again, this is a very strange girl we are dealing with.

The final results may be surprising. All three cartridges worked. The dropped cartridge doesn’t surprise me all that much, but the fire and ice ones do. The fire one in particular needed to have the “melty bits” cleaned up (i.e. cut off), but after the carving, the game still worked.
