Wow, Friday is here already? I'm completely fine with that! I don't know why this week went so quickly, but anything that gets me to some rest and relaxation is okay with me! Let's get through Friday and then enjoy ourselves, shall we? See you in a few, short hours.

I know that you guys have noticed a trend with articles from around the web. I also know that you've noticed a tone that analysts are taking recently. It all has to do with the 3DS. It's not performing to Nintendo's liking, and they've taken a rather drastic measure to try and jumpstart the platform. This has lead to many 'Nintendo is doomed' comments from big-name industry folks. Trust me, I don't like it either.

I guess it's just business as usual when it comes to being a Nintendo fan. I can't remember a time since the SNES days where Nintendo fans weren't bashed. It just comes with the territory. I don't know what it is about Nintendo, but plenty of gamers hear the name and automatically have negative thoughts. It's a trend that has continued on for years, and shows no signs of stopping.

That's all well and good, but dealing with that on top of all these negative articles is a bit taxing. As I said, I'm not happy to share these comments with you guys. With that said, I cover the news as usual. That includes positive/negative and everything inbetween. I've seen a few of you guys and gals commenting on how these negative articles are getting you down, and I'm with you on that. The thing is, I just can't ignore news because I don't like it. There's something we can all do, though.

Now's a great time for us to come together and really show our love and appreciation of Nintendo. If you see an article out there that you don't like, spread the word on how you feel. If you see an analyst comment that you disagree with, let your voice be heard. If you see a shareholder saying that Nintendo should go third party, speak up and tell us why you think they're dead wrong. If these guys are going to predict doom and gloom for the Big N, we can come forward and discuss why we think they're dead wrong.

Every time I come across a Nintendo article with a negative slant, it brings my day down a bit. The thing is, there are other articles that paint a bleak picture for Nintendo, but they do so in a critical way. While I may not like thinking about Nintendo having tough times ahead, I do indeed appreciate critical articles that look at Nintendo's current situation. Constructive criticism is always appreciated, even if it's showing an outcome someone doesn't want. It's the bashing and over-the-top comments that aren't worth getting riled up over.

We're better than those gamers that applaud Nintendo's poor situation with the 3DS. We may love Nintendo, but we love games in general. Praising any negative situation no matter what the company doesn't help anyone. Let's show our support of Nintendo and the games industry in general by keeping positive and sharing our reasons why we love the Big N. They've been around for a long time, and there's no doubt in my mind that they'll be here for many years to come.
