A portion of a ZeldaInformer interview with Zelda Reorchestrated director Eric Buchholz...

ZI: Recently, you (along with other members of the extended ZREO team) have actually helped Nintendo out with the Symphony of the Goddesses concert series. Can you tell us what you did and what it was like?

EB: It's been incredible! We're still working in a supportive capacity with the guys responsible for creating the show itself, Jeron Moore and Chad Seiter. The opportunity they've given us has allowed us the unusual privilege of digging deep into almost all aspects of the production, helping with anything from transcriptions and score editing, to merchandise sales and even some of the video sequencing (you can imagine how tickled I was to help Jeron edit the visuals for the Wind Waker movement).

We were working backstage at the E3 announcement, present for the 25th Anniversary CD recording session (the one that streamed in 3D to our 3DS's), along with the 25th Anniversary Symphony shows last October. The opportunity came while working on Twilight Symphony, and ironically accounts for many of the delays we've had over the last year on our own project. It's been really hectic balancing work between the 25th Anniversary, Symphony of the Goddesses and Twilight Symphony simultaneously, but also awesome, as we've been channeling all of the invaluable experience we've gained from working with pros into our own project. Honestly we couldn't have predicted any of this, but we wouldn't have it any other way either. We're really grateful for everyone's patience.
