Chun Soft discusses 999 sales
Coming from a 1up interview with Chun Soft's Koichi Nakamura...
KN: So the first one was Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Hours, and the second title in the series will be coming to the U.S. this winter. We showed a movie for it, and then we were looking at the viewers and it seemed like about half of them were people from overseas. We only showed the Japanese version of it, but it seems like a fan translated it, and there are a lot of views on the translated version. I feel like there might be some anticipation for this in the West. It wasn't a smash hit or anything like that -- we sold maybe 30,000 units of the first one -- but it seems like it's still gathering some momentum.
