GN Version 4.0
The following comes from Reggie Fils-Aime...

- Nintendo believes in making money on hardware
- won't comment on how much they're making on each Wii U, but not selling at a loss
- Nintendo likes to pack in as much content into the best price possible
- this is why Nintendo offers services like online without having to pay for them
- Nintendo doesn't believe they're overdoing Mario titles
- Reggie says each entry is unique, different and new
- they don't want to 'kill the golden goose' by putting out too many Mario games
- third parties will discuss their release dates for Wii U titles
- Nintendo confident they can get consumers to jump in on Wii U this holiday
- GamePads aren't being sold separately yet because Nintendo needs to make sure they have enough GamePads to put in each retail bundle. They are worrying about that first.
- Wii U supports Full priced games, smaller digital content, free-to-play, consumable content, subscription services
- Reggie worries all the time, but focuses on "making sure that we're as prepared as humanly possible to deliver on what is, again, a groundbreaking Nintendo innovation."
