Activision's Wreck-It Ralph now available

Are you looking for some wrecking action? Well, get ready, because Activision’s adventure video game, Wreck-It Ralph™, is now available for the Wii™ system from Nintendo and the Nintendo 3DS™ and DS™ handheld systems!

An all-new story extension to Walt Disney Animation Studio’s upcoming movie, the Wreck-It Ralph video game, follows our misunderstood bad guy-turned-hero, Ralph, as he teams up with Fix-It Felix Jr. to save their arcade home from a nasty Cy-bug invasion. Use Ralph’s havoc-heavy hands to destroy Cy-bugs and earn special arcade tokens for your valiant efforts. Switch between the 8-bit heroes and play as Ralph, who can wreck anything or Fix-It Felix Jr., who can’t help but to fix it all! Now’s your chance to smash your way into the classic arcade world of the Wreck-It Ralph video game today!

In theaters on November 2, Walt Disney Animation Studio’s Wreck-It Ralph tells the story of Ralph, who wants to shed his bad guy image and prove once and for all that he can be the good guy. Follow Ralph in this hilarious, arcade-game-hopping adventure, as he leaves the shadow of his hometown hero, Fix-It Felix Jr., and abandons his arcade home in hopes of finding his own heroic spotlight. Can Ralph make his dreams of becoming a hero come true before it’s game over?

The wrecking fun doesn’t stop there! Nesquik and Thinkway Toys have announced two awesome promotions for the Wreck-It Ralph video game. Within specially marked packages of Nesquik, there will be an exclusive code that unlocks a special invincibility game feature. Keep a lookout for the film’s Wreck-It Ralph branded Thinkway Toy boxes, featuring a URL that reveals a special code to unlock the ability to freeze enemies within the video game.

Rated ‘E’ for “Everyone” by the ESRB, Wreck-It Ralph is now available at retailers nationwide. Wreck-It Ralph launches in Europe on November 30 with the exception of UK and Nordic territories, where the game launches in February 2013.
