RUMOR - GameStop cancelling Wii U waiting lists

If this rumor is true, there are going to be hundreds of thousands of angry customers. We're hearing that GameStop is cancelling the Wii U waiting lists, simply because they have too many people on-call and no idea when new systems will be coming in. Apparently, the store is notifying customers of this change, telling them that purchases will now be on a first come/first serve basis. If anyone out there has received this call, please let us know.
