Europe - The Video Game Hero Sale is happening right now on Nintendo eShop!

The January sales have come early to Nintendo eShop! Just in time for Christmas, we've prepared some great discounts available on some brilliant Virtual Console titles for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL. And better yet, they're games featuring your favourite videogame heroes!

Each week for the next three weeks, Nintendo eShop will feature discounts on two selected Virtual Console titles themed around a specific Nintendo character. These discounts will only last for a week at a time though, so you'll have to be quick if you don't want to miss out!

Right now until 13th December, you can get a discount on two great games starring Donkey Kong. Whether you choose the Game Boy version of the original Donkey Kong (£2.69, 25% off) or the NES version of Donkey Kong Jr. (£3.19, 30% off), you're sure to have plenty of fun monkeying around!

The following week from 13th December, you'll find two classic Metroid games discounted for download. Then the week after that… well, we don't want to spoil the surprise, so you'll have to wait and see which games get the discount treatment from 20th December!
