Remember back in 2008 when Epic's Mike Capps said the Wii was a virus?

"It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on."

Here we are in April 2013, which is when Cliffy B. decides to side with that statement.

...if I departed from Epic every time I said something dumb I wouldn’t have made it the last 10 years there. (P.S. Mike Capps was right…the Wii was a virus after all.)

I guess the Wii was a virus for some people. They didn't bother to see what was on the system beyond the pack-ins. On the other hand, there were millions that experienced much of what the system had to offer, that goes for 2008 and beyond. I bet XSEED doesn't think the Wii was a virus, considering how The Last Story is their best-selling title ever.
