3DS sees improved total sales this fiscal year, but with lower sales outside of Japan

The most recent fiscal year, Nintendo managed to sell 5.7 million 3DS' in Japan, 4.3 million in North America and 4 million in the rest of the world. That sounds all well and good, but the fiscal year before was actually better in some parts of the world. The previous fiscal year saw 4.7 million 3DS units sold in NA, 4.8 million in Japan and 4.1 million in the rest of the world. That puts us at 14 million 3DS' sold this fiscal year and 13.7 million last. The system is kicking ass in Japan, but North America and the rest of the world saw some slowdown.
