Ubisoft details a few of the hackable items in Watch_Dogs

"You're able to hack into many things like steam pipes, road blockers, obviously cell phone communications, surveillance systems, traffic lights and into trains. In Chicago there is a steam heating system, where steam is being distributed through the city to heat buildings during the winter and fall. So you're able to hack into the maintenance system and cause pressure points, steam explosions. It's pretty violent when it happens."
