GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - What is Reggie bringing to VGX?

I finally feel like I'm getting back on-track with Wii Fit U after my nasty spill. My ankle is still bruised/jacked up, but I can get back to some light walking. The push for a healthy lifestyle continues! See you in a few, short hours.

Let's be honest, shall we? The Spike TV Video Game Awards have never really been all that kind to Nintendo fans. That's not any fault of the gang involved with putting the show together. It has more to do with the games that were coming to Wii/DS. It was very rare that something was coming down the pipeline that would vibe with the type of show that the VGAs was trying to be.

I don't know how or why, but this time around we're finally going to see some love for Nintendo. Actually, it seems to be a pretty big deal. Maybe it's the change from VGA to VGX or maybe it's just great timing, but Nintendo fans now have a big reason to tune in. Reggie Fils-Aime is hitting up the awards show this year with a presentation, and he's going to be doing it live.

What do we know about what Reggie has to show? The official press release states that we'll get 'a new look at an upcoming Wii U game'. We also know that it'll be a 'world premiere', according to host Geoff Keighley. On top of that, we also know that Keighley and the VGX gang aren't quite sure what Reggie is planning, as stated in a Twitter comment.

The fact that the press release states 'a new look' makes me think this is a title that has already been shown, or at the very least, has been mentioned as existing. Outside of that, I have no clue what we could be in store for. With Reggie attending live, you'd like to think this will be a pretty big deal. Leave a comment and let us know what you think will happen!
