A portion of a NintyChronicle interview with Jools Watsham...

NC: As we all know the Wii U has had a bit of trouble in the early part of being released. Do you think there is anything to worry about? I know that most people say that there are no games for the system… but I for one think that there is a healthy amount of games both at retail and on the eShop just waiting for download

Jools: I think the Wii U is a great console. I am very excited to have Mutant Mudds Deluxe on that platform. The market for the Wii U will pick up once titles such as Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart are released I believe the Wii U will become a platform that independent developers will be able to flourish in – thanks to Nintendo’s positive attitude towards independent publishing.

NC: When will we learn more about this game. Is this for the 3DS only, or will it see a release on the Wii U as well?

Jools: We’re hoping to release the game before the end of this year. We’ll have more news on it very soon. We would like to bring Treasurenauts to other platforms, but that will be determined by the reception of the game on the 3DS.
