2DS/3DS XL March Promo - Register your system and 1 of 6 games for a free Pokemon X/Y

This comes from Toys R' Us, but it doesn't seem to be tied to the store specifically.

Thanks to Reggie for the heads up!

A download version? Usually I don't mind downloading retail games but I didn't in Pokemon's case due to how much you could lose if your SD card corrupted, especially if you transfered from previous gens

Bring it over here with a 100 euro (max) 2DS bundle and I'll get one as an extra street pass opportunity.. (I've street passed 4 people since I got my first 3DS in April 2011......... (SADFACE!)

Oh @TheDreamingHawk: You can create as many backups as you like! (You can even go back to older saves if something goes wrong, like deleting a fav. pokemon or whatever) I used to be wary of digital 3DS downloads but I've learned to love it. It is very convenient! (Though I got a retail copy of Y just in case!)

Edit: You can even create different saves on different SD cards and switch between them. (Like having 2 different ACNL villages, though of course you can't use them on different 3DSs)

But if your SD card corrupts you also lose the save data backup. And really? Pokemon X and Y have save data backup support? Wow, I thought they wouldn't since ACNL doesn't

You do know you can actually back up the save data itself and store it elsewhere. You can actually more easily lose your data from the physical card due to the lack of back ups

If you mean on the computer then I already do it all the time. Problem is I'm not always near my computer.

It's not tied to the store. It says to register on Club Nintendo in the fine print.

Oh that is great I have an unregistered 2DS and I plan to get Yoshi's New Island and/or get Kid Icarus Uprising. Pokemon Y is so mine.
