Call of Duty: Ghosts character transfer works between all platforms

Maybe you have plans on picking up Call of Duty: Ghosts on a couple platforms. Maybe you borrow a friend's game for one system and end up buying it on another. Activision wants you to know that you can transfer your characters between any platform. The Wii U wasn't specifically mentioned, but I would like to think 'all' includes Wii U.
