Random Time! - Nintendo online store selling replacement instruction booklets

Can't say there's ever been a time where I've needed a replacement manual, especially in the days of the internet. With that said, I guess having the option there is nice!

"This is the manual that was packaged with the game. The manual you receive may be a photocopy of the original manual."

As in plain print outs or closer to the real thing? I can't say I'd need a plain white paper copy of a manual.

They are either the real thing or fairly high quality color printouts. Only problem is the print outs are sometimes of facing pages and sometimes of pages that would be next to each other in a print run.

By the way, this is nothing new.

Yeah, they've been selling them for a while and are low quality, IIRC.

This has been a thing for years. Being the completionist that I tend to be, if I purchase a "disc only" used game, I usually purchase a case and manual from Nintendo (and print out a cover). Most of the time they're the same manual you'd receive with a new copy, but occasionally they're just a photocopy of the original - nothing I couldn't have printed out on my on. Sadly, you don't know until you receive it.

Interesting they can still print out the B-K manual [considering it's tied to Microsoft and the game is on the XBLA].

Last time I ordered manuals from them (like 2009 I think), they were all laser color print-outs.

The last time I ordered a replacement manual they charged me $5 to hit "print" and they sent me 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper with the manual printed on them and an asinine explanation that they still charged me full price due to the cost of paper and ink.
