GN Version 4.0
The sequel to Japans "most downloaded Nintendo eShop title 2013" takes a little Bike Rider to space - Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy release on Dec 18th!

What is the "Bike Rider" series?
Originally created as a mobile phone application by Japanese game designer Yuta Hoshino, the "Bike Rider" series has stepped on the big stage being released for Nintendo 3DSTM in December 2012 in Japan. "Bike Rider DX" has not only managed to rank in 1st in the total download ranking in the Nintendo eShop twice, but also never left the top 20 over the span of a complete year, finally being crowned as most downloaded eShop title in 2013 in Japan. In late summer 2013, "Bike Rider DX" for Nintendo 3DSTM has also been released in North America, Europe and South Korea.

What is new in "Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy?"
The little Bike Rider travels to space in twelve challenging stages of the GALAXY TOUR, based on the twelve zodiac signs, full of unexpected traps, plenty of new gimmicks (twice as much as in "Bike Rider DX") and three new power-up items. Besides the Propeller, the Turbo Rocket and the Air Glider known from "Bike Rider DX", the player can now transform into the Drill Rider (has the ability to crash rocks), the Wing Rider (has the ability to freely fly around the stage) and the totally weird Frog Rider (can do super charge jumps) by collecting power-up jewels. Every stage has its very own setting, special gimmicks and also the soundtrack has been improved, with each stage now having its very own unique theme.

Besides the normal stage-based game mode, also the endless random race mode GRAND PRIX has been powered up. Compared to the GRAND PRIX mode in "Bike Rider DX", the random stage creation system has been totally renewed, now featuring ten times more variety to ensure that each time you play, the course will be totally unique. Furthermore, "Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy" supports online rankings both weekly and total, allowing players to compete with other Bike Riders all around Japan and race for first place in two difficulty levels.

If that is not enough, players who manage to clear the twelve stages of the GALAXY TOUR will be awarded with a total of thirty EXTRA courses, ranging from "pretty hard" to "absolute nightmare" difficulty levels. To unlock these courses, medals are needed - which can now not only be collected in the normal stages, but also by completing a wide variety of AWARDs. The new "challenge" system adds another kick for experienced players - if you manage to clear a stage without using the directional buttons (just by jumping!) and also collect all three medals, you will be awarded a golden crown - and these will also be needed to unlock the very last EXTRA stages.

Last but not least, "Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy" also supports downloadable extra content, with one special download stage available for free at the time of release and many more to come!
