GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Your holiday gaming gifts

Snow, snow and more snow! We're getting hit by a pretty big storm here in Jersey. It's cold, windy and completely white! Time to snuggle up with the glow of the computer and make it through this storm! See you in a few, short hours.

I'm very sad to say it, but it's true. The big holiday season is over. The stores have moved on from their holiday advertising, the gifts have been given and the family get-togethers have come and gone. It's the time of year where we all get back into the regular swing of things...the daily routine that makes us yearn for the weekend.

That doesn't mean it's all sad stuff, though! Hopefully you have some wonderful memories of this holiday, created with your family and friends. Those are truly the best things to keep with you from each holiday season, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't fun to get some gifts as well! I'm willing to bet that you guys/gals got yourself a gaming goody or two over the last couple weeks.

I actually got a few gift cards for buying whatever games I want. I grabbed myself a Steam card and GameStop card to purchase downloads across all platforms. Lots of digital downloads over here, including some Wii Sports Club action, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Halo: Spartan Ops and more. Always nice to grab bite-sized content when you're using gifted cash!

What did you guys and gals come away with from the holiday season? Any big gaming related gifts? Did you get a new portable or handheld? Did someone make you a gaming-themed piece of clothing? Leave a comment and let us know how you got your gaming fix during the holiday season!
