RUMOR: Are eShop publishers in Germany dropping releases due to USK ratings and low sales?

An interesting article has popped up on NintendoLife where they detail that a source has informed them that some game developers are dropping eShop support in Germany due to two factors. Besides the low sales of some eShop titles, the source in NintendoLife's story also points out that the USK ratings to approve game releases in Germany are very costly, enough that some developers cannot recover from. Perhaps it brings into question the current state of approval ratings and costs associated with them across Europe.
