Shapes of Gray dev ready to work on other projects

GN Version 5.0

Coming from Trent Steen, the dev behind Shapes of Gray...

Once I can for sure move on from Shapes of Gray, I've got a few different ideas for games that I'd like to experiment with as smaller prototypes at first, and then if they work out go from there. Regardless of how SoG does I'll end up moving forward with some smaller projects. One of those weird things where "you don't choose the project, the project chooses YOU."

I think a lot of developers are the same way. Once their first more traditional game about being a boy made of meat is finished, they move onto a bunch of experimental projects about cat evolution and Biblical basement monsters and kinda just see what sticks. (World of Goo -> Little Inferno, Ocarina of Time -> Majora's Mask... it happens all the time!) Shapes of Gray has been an awesome first step for me in getting my name out there and learning about the whole process of releasing a game--now I can comfortably make something much weirder with the confidence to pull it off.
